After working in marketing for years, I found myself at my child’s S’mores-themed birthday party, holding a marshmallow and thinking, “This could be so much more.” That moment sparked a big idea—to turn a simple treat into something special. What started as a fun project quickly became a passion for creating gourmet marshmallows, and soon after, we opened the very first marshmallow café in Texas.

For years, the café was more than just a place to buy treats. It was a cozy, cheerful spot where families came together, regulars stopped by for their favorites, and new visitors discovered how fun and fancy a gourmet marshmallow could be. We made bold, creative flavors like maple bacon and orange cardamom, always seeing each marshmallow as a chance to create something new and exciting.

Closing the café wasn’t easy. Rent went up, and we had ongoing problems with the property management. Even though we were sad to say goodbye to that chapter, we knew it was time for a new one.

Today, The Fancy Marshmallow Co. is still going strong—now fully online. We still make our small-batch, handmade gourmet marshmallows, offer seasonal collections, cater events, and appear at local markets. Our mission is the same: to bring a little extra sweetness and joy into your life.

And we’re still dreaming! We’re looking forward to popping up in new cities, doing more events, and maybe one day opening another magical shop. We’re so glad you’re on this journey with us.
